EZid PIT Tag features AVID electronics. Through the use of patented technology*, AVID has pioneered the use of miniaturized implantable transponders. Today, more than 15 million AVID microchip transponders have been successfully administered worldwide. AVID electronics feature custom integrated circuit, coil and capacitor hermetically sealed in a glass capsule with biocompatible Parylene C coating. The PIT Tag has no batteries to replace or moving parts that wear out thereby offering long term identification. Once within the reader’s electromagnetic field, the PIT Tag is energized and transmits unique ID number to a reader in milliseconds

| MUSICC Tag Caddy (pictured left) offers a simple delivery system small enough to fit three into a shirt pocket. This patented container is designed to carry, sterilize and dispense 25 tags (included). It conveniently slips into gear pocket for back country and off-site operations. Use with Monoject Syringe or Injector Gun.
Bulk PIT Tags are available in either 134 kHz ISO code or 125 kHz 12mm tags in lots of 100. Technical sheets are available upon request. AVID PIT tags boast excellent read distance and dependability.

Handheld Readers
The AVID The Power Tracker series are rugged, heavy duty handheld readers and can be made water resistant upon request. They include a NiMn rechargeable battery, battery recharger unit, RS-232 interface cable and Wedge interface software W95/NT.
